DC Series Deep Cycle Battery

Xbatt DC(Deep Cycle) series batteries are designed to have a large amount of stored current discharged between charging sessions, with very heavy non-porous battery plates to withstand repeated major discharging and charging cycles (deep cycle).

The DC series uses a different chemistry for the plate active paste material, and a slightly stronger electrolyte than a normal battery electrolyte, which allows for much longer life in deep cycle applications

Thick plates and high-density active material

Plate: All positive and negative plates are made from lead-tin calcium alloy

Container & case: ABS material, highly resistant to shock and vibration

Electrolyte: The battery electrolyte contains fumed silica, and there is no flow, no leakage, or no graduation of acid liquor

Separators: low resistance microporous glass fiber. The electrolyte is absorbed within this material, preventing acid spills in case of accidental damage

Terminal: with brass insert for maximum conductivity and with high compression grommet for long life

Relief valve: self-regulating pressure relief valve prevents the ingress of atmospheric oxygen
